Overview

NOTE: After selecting this product, you will need to complete a short assessment, so we can make sure this medication is suitable for you.

Xenical is a branded medication containing the active ingredient Orlistat. There are enzymes in the digestive system known as lipases which aid in breaking down and digesting fat. Usually, after a meal the fat eaten is broken down and absorbed by the body resulting in it being used as a source of energy or to convert it into fat tissue. When you buy Xenical, ensure it is taken with meals as the medication attaches to the lipases and blocks them from breaking down some of the fat you have eaten. When this happens, the undigested fat cannot be absorbed and therefore is removed in your bowel movements.

Excess weight can result in an increased risk of developing other medical condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and heart disease. While the intake of fatty foods plays an important part in a balanced diet, it must be controlled.

In order for Xenical to be effective, an increased exercise plan and a low calorie diet should be implemented with no more than 30% of calories from fat. You must have body max index (BMI) of 28 or more. It is highly recommended to take daily multivitamin supplements that contain vitamins A, D, E and K, along with beta-carotene.

A healthy diet should be adopted whilst taking Xenical resulting in not only weight loss but overall numerous health benefits. Your GP should be informed of any complications you experience.*
