Imodium capsules are used to treat acute diarrhoea in adults and children aged 12 years and over. It is also used treat diarrhoea associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome in adults and children aged 18 years and older.

WARNINGS

Do not use if:
•The patient is aged under 12 years (or under 18 for an IBS patient).
•Your diarrhoea has lasted for longer than 48 hours.

•Please consult your pharmacist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or breastfeeding.
•Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction.
•If you think you may be allergic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking.

INGREDIENTS

Loperamide hydrochloride 2mg. Other ingredients: Lactose, maize starch, talc and magnesium stearate (E572), titanium dioxide (E171), black ferrous oxide (E172), yellow ferric oxide (E172), indigo carmine (E132), erythrosine (E127) and gelatin.
