Dymista Nasal Spray

Dymista Nasal Spray contains two active substances: azelastine hydrochloride and
fluticasone propionate.

• Azelastine hydrochloride belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines.
Antihistamines work by preventing the effects of substances such as histamine that the
body produces as part of an allergic reaction – thus reducing symptoms of allergic
rhinitis.

• Fluticasone propionate belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids which
reduces inflammation.

Dymista Nasal Spray is used to relieve the symptoms of moderate to severe seasonal and
perennial allergic rhinitis if the use of either intranasal antihistamine or corticosteroid alone is
not considered sufficient.

Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis are allergic reactions to substances such as pollen
(hayfever), house mites, moulds, dust or pets.

Dymista Nasal Spray relieves the symptoms of allergies, for example: runny nose, post
nasal drip, sneezing and itchy or blocked nose.

Rhinolast Nasal Spray

Rhinolast belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. These work by preventing the effects of histamine that the body produces as part of an allergic reaction.

Rhinolast is used to treat allergic rhinitis. This is an allergy which may affect you only at certain times of the year (for example, allergy to pollen, called hay fever), or all year round (for example, allergy to the house dust mites or dog and cat hairs).

Usually it affects you by causing a runny nose, sneezing, itching or blocked nose. Rhinolast should help control these symptoms.

This product may be used by adults and children aged 6 years and older.

Nasonex 50 micrograms/actuation Nasal Spray, Suspension

Nasonex Nasal Spray contains mometasone furoate, one of a group of medicines called corticosteroids.

When mometasone furoate is sprayed into the nose, it can help to relieve inflammation (swelling and irritation of the nose), sneezing, itching and a blocked up or runny nose.

Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray

Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray (called ‘Beconase’ in this leaflet) contains a medicine called beclometasone dipropionate. This belongs to a group of medicines called steroids (also called ‘cortico-steroids’).

• steroids work by reducing inflammation
• they reduce swelling and irritation in your nose
• this helps to relieve itching, sneezing and your blocked or runny nose.

Beconase is used to prevent and treat:

• Inflammation in the lining of your nose (rhinitis) due to seasonal allergies, such as Hayfever.
• Inflammation in the lining of your nose (rhinitis) due to year round (perennial) allergies, such as animal allergies.
